Hams In The Park

Hams In The Park (HITP) is the Twin Cities premier monthly ham radio meetup.

Come on over and set up your radio gear, HF, QRP, VHF, UHF, satellite, or whatever and enjoy the company of like-minded friends. Show off your equipment, see what others have, compare notes, learn and have fun! Hams In The Park (HITP) is not a contest just a place for hams and those interested in amateur radio to get together and share the hobby.

Hams In The Park is open to everyone interested in Amateur Radio, GMRS, Shortwave Listening (SWL), or radios and electronics. It’s a welcoming environment, so come out to the park and make some new friends, or say hello to old friends you haven’t seen in a while.

Connect with fellow hams

Hams In The Park is a great way to meet other hams. Walk up to someone and say hello!

Learn from other Hams

Whether it’s a new antenna design or emergency communications go-box, there is always something to learn at HITP.

Practice your operating skills

Many attendees set up and operate HF portable, satellites, and more while at HITP. Bring your gear and get on the air.

I’ve been going to Hams In The Park for years. It’s always a fun time filled with great conversation with fellow hams. I never miss it.
