New DMR Repeater On-Air in Wyoming, MN

Attention all digital ham radio operators! There is exciting news for the amateur radio community. A new digital mobile radio (DMR) amateur radio repeater has recently been installed near Wyoming, MN which provides extended coverage up the I-35 corridor. This new repeater is part of the Brandmeister DMR Network and is open for use to all licensed amateur radio operators.

The repeater is on the air thanks to Matt Kohout, KF0KYZ, who put the Motorola XPR series repeater on the air in early May. Putting a machine in the Wyoming, MN area brings numerous advantages for Minnesota DMR users. The most notable is it gives reliable coverage as you head north out of the Twin Cities along the I-35 corridor towards Duluth.
